The world received as
a bucket of cold water, the words of President Donald J Trump to say that
Russia, under its president Vladimir Putin, did not intervene in the US
elections of 2016, which made Trump win the race to conquer the White House.
Experts say that the
Trump-Putin Summit in Finland, the winner of the meeting was the Russian
leader. Trump ignored that Russia is the historical enemy of the United States.
Trump in Finland ignored the US intelligence reports accusing a little more
than a dozen Russian citizens of having intervened in the 2016 presidential
elections. For that reason, Trump is labeled as a traitor, for leaning to the
side of Russia.
Analysts state that
Trump thinks that world decisions should be made by the three leaders of the super
powers on the planet: The United States, Russia and China. And that's the
reason Trump says that if he gets along with Russia, the United States, he will
do better.
Some legislators, both
Republicans and Democrats, have declared their repudiation to the president and
have hinted that Putin must have a secret or know or got something about Trump,
which, if revealed, would harm the US president.
The White House is
doing what it can to clean up the immediate and subsequent consequences of the
damage caused by the president's words about Putin's refusal to intervene in US
elections.
Trump, back from
Finland, had to publicly retract what he said in Helsinki. The president
declared that the media misunderstood his words. He corrected his statement
that he would saw no reason to think that Moscow was responsible and that
instead he should have said that he " wouldn’t saw a reason not to think
about it".
He accepted the
intelligence reports on Russia's meddling in the 2016 presidential election,
but that there was no collusion. But he said that had not impacted the outcome
of the election where Hillary Clinton lost. But he did not declare anything
against Putin. The president said that the United States in this year's
elections will take greater care so that there is no foreign intervention.
Former President
Barack Obama, in a speech in honor of the late South African leader Nelson Mandela,
in Johannesburg, South Africa, said that we must take into account "...
the strange and uncertain times in which we find ourselves - and are strange
and insecure - the cycle Every day's news brings more disturbing headlines and
headlines - I thought it might be useful to take a step back for a moment and
try to have some perspective, "said the former president. His remarks also
come a day after president Trump blamed the United States that Russia is
considered adversary but that from now on it will be a competing nation.
