The world has witnessed, through social networks, a medium that have
more freedom than conventional media, in reporting what is happening in Latin
America, mainly in Bolivia.
Images, videos are shown, where the Bolivarian military and police
forces shoot the indigenous protesters, directly in the head without receiving
any resistance, except for their right to express themselves against the de
facto dictatorship of Jeanine Añez undercover behind a Bible and a Crucifix.
An indigenous woman in a video says in painful tears: "They are
killing us with bullets."
The coup in Bolivia is a return to the dark times where the military dictatorship
reigned in Latin America. The repression of the indigenous population in
Cochabamba, a practically Evo Morales bastion and the MAS Party (Movement to
Socialism) makes it impossible for the coup plotters to finally take power.
I consider now that Morales's resignation was a tactic, which at the
beginning was to prevent bloodshed, now it is to fold ranks and be able to one
day, perhaps not to be president again, but to coordinate the campaign of who
could well succeed him in the power to continue the social conquests that he,
as president, achieved for the country and therefore for the Bolivian people.
"I thought this kind of situation was over," Morales said at a
press conference in Mexico. "But after many years, fascism, Nazism, and
coups were reborn in Bolivia."
“We have fought for the demands of the Bolivian people. Some media
report as if they had anesthetized, "said Morales." There are a
people mobilized for freedom and democracy. We achieved many social conquests
which are now being shattered for not accepting that Indigenous people can rule.
”
"The lies are not long, they have short legs," Evo Morales
said to what he called a massacre a genocide against his "Bolivian
brothers and sisters."
In Latin America much of the population is of indigenous origin, while a
large part of those who have power are descendants of Europeans who conquered
these lands with the Bible in one hand and with a firearm in the other. Those Whites,
Creoles, Caucasians, who hate to see people of indigenous origin come to power,
such as Morales's case, remain in Bolivia and in much of the continent.
With respect to the religious manifestations of the self-proclaimed
President Añez and her followers, they are a reflection that religion, army,
the right-wing and fascism go hand in hand. The churches, whether Catholic or
Evangelical, are protectors of the oligarchic or military groups in power and
use the Holy Scriptures as demagogic and alienating speeches, giving Carlos
Marx the reason, who said that religion is the opium of the people.
In Bolivia, the clock of history receded until the times when the
inquisition tortured in the name of God to impose a colonial regime, from which
Latin America already became independent. But now, in the 21st century, it is a
real disgust seeing how the Bolivian coup leaders are using the Bible as a
fascist instrument to torment the Bolivian people to give preference to the
wealthy, who only ambition is about accumulating power. The Holy Scriptures are
being used to socially divide the indigenous and white usurpers, true strangers
of these lands, as Jacinto Canek, the Maya indigenous in the 1700s in Mexico
said.
In the 21st century, Latin America is experiencing the following
scenario: Bolivia with a coup d’état, Ecuador under siege, Colombia,
humanitarian crisis, Peru political crisis, Brazil, financial crisis, Argentina
almost destruction, bloody Chile and Mexico attacked by the ultra-right. There
are the pearls of voracious capitalism for having more power and thus
exploiting natural resources, allied to the empire for world control.
President Donald Trump said that after Bolivia, his goal now is
Nicaragua and Venezuela. The United States, with the provocation of coup d’états,
wishes to ensure the dominance of the planet from Latin America. The world now
has three forces, Russia, China and the United States. Bolivia is a country
that shines in the middle of the South American continent. One of the main
reasons for this glow is lithium, where Bolivia has the most world reserves.
For its extraction, the Bolivian government headed by Evo Morales operated a
joint venture between the state and individuals. Its biggest client is the
People's Republic of China and had a very juicy trade agreement with the Andean
country with Bolivia. That good commercial relationship between the two
countries certainly bothered Trump, so he came to the audacity to support the
coup in Bolivia.
