Once again, the terror
of a military coup d’état shakes the lands of the Americas. What seemed to be
part of the dark history of Latin America, is now again a reality, that are
taking by surprise to the new generations, but that many, of those of us who are
still alive, witnessed dictatorships, genocides, massacres and revolutions.
On this occasion, the
military in Bolivia decided, obviously on orders and with the permission of US
imperialism, to strike a blow against the indigenous president Evo Morales, who
was constitutionally elected and, who in order to avoid bloodshed, decided to
resign from office, thus opening the doors to a possible military dictatorship.
Again the fascist
right, as it was in the twentieth century, follows the instructions of US
imperialism, to coordinate the coup against President Morales, being the
ultimate goal, to implement a government of the right that allows stealing and
looting resources Bolivia's natural resources, its hydrocarbons and the
reserves of millions of tons of lithium, the largest in the world, a key metal
in the industry for electric vehicles and electronic devices.
This shows that under
the military government, Bolivia's natural resources will pass into the hands
of imperialist monopolies, as it was commonly done in the last century. It is
well known that the Pentagon and Nazis in Latin America molded soldiers,
generals, police officers to kill, torture, persecute and disappear the
civilian population, students, teachers, housewives, workers, peasants; etc.
Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara
once said that the “... imperialist bestiality ... does not have a specific
border, nor does it belong to a particular country ... Because it is the nature
of imperialism that bestializes men. The one that turns them into bloodthirsty
beasts that are willing to slaughter, to kill, to destroy even the last image
of a revolutionary, of a supporter of a regime that has fallen under his boot,
or that fights for his freedom. ”
The empire under its
president, Donald J. Trump, succeeds in Bolivia, which prevails its prey
against Latin America, with Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile in its sights, again in
Cuba and sooner or later it will have Mexico in its sights, counting on this
last country with elite allies that no longer have the power and that under the
Fourth Transformation of the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, no
longer have the privileges that they obtained in previous regimes and that are
now being returned to the most needed people.
This editorial, as
time goes by, will be augmented, renewed, modified, and will denounce and not
remain silent in the face of human rights violations caused by this coup in
Bolivia.
